Product information
Tandem allows tensioning and releasing swiftly and easily to length of up to 50 m. Tandem works based on self-locking pulley system including 1 inch weblock, that allows to anchor and pretension the main line by hand. Its second part, T2, contains integrated brake providing sufficient friction to block the system yet it allows both simple and safe system release.
Tandem's basic mechanical advantage is 8:1 multiplied by CamPull, a part capable of multiplying in 3:1 ratio. In such configuration, single person is able to develope tension of up to 6kN very easily indeed. In reality that means you can rig 50m long slackline alone.
Considering its weight is slightly over one kilo (incl. 20m rigging webbing), it’s quite an achievement, don’t you think?
