Sheriff offers more than a standard locker. Just as Bandit, Sheriff is a versatile weblock that can be used almost anytime; from longline to waterline of a total length of about 120m/12kN. Its design and used materials (high-strength stainless steel) provide sufficient safety factor of 5:1.
The line can be hand-pretensioned and thus allows using maximum length of the rigging system.​

Soft-release function:
​Sheriff can be attached to 12mm shackle using a piece of 1inch webbing, which is anchored independently. This eliminates melting of the soft release that is usually observed with regular methods. We recommend to make at least 6 wraps of the webbing.
The soft release itself can be used to tension a line to up to 30 m/4 kN. The releasing webbing must always be secured with two knots or by another reliable method. If you find this description a bit complicated, perhaps watching the video or going through the user guide will help you more.
